Innovate: to effect a change in 
Exchange: reciprocal giving and receiving

This is an annual gathering of local, regional and national folks who are people of faith, care for the poor and desire to see marketplace principles and strategies used to help empower the materially poor and transform impoverished communities. We use white boards, flip charts, sticky notes, Legos, Play Doh, pipe cleaners, a sticky wall and gamestorming to innovate solutions to help address material poverty in our community.  

In our first Innovators Exchange, we explored ways to attract champions, allies and program participants along with tackling ways to make our initiative sustainable. We used empathy mapping, 3-12-3 brainstorming and affinity maps to hone in on solutions to overcome these challenges.
